Apple’s cat and mouse game with the jailbreaking community continues as the company releases an update to slam the door in the face of those wanting to jailbreak their device.

iOS 9.3.4 is “an important security update” that fixes a single issue which may allow applications to “execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.” What’s most interesting is that Apple has credited Team Pangu, a prominent developer in the jailbreaking community, with uncovering the bug.

This update is clearly a response to the jailbreak released for iOS 9.3.3 by Team Pangu.

iOS 9.3.4 applies to all devices that run iOS 9, which spans the iPhone 4S and newer, iPad 2 and newer, all iPad Mini and iPad Pro tablets, and the fifth- and sixth-gen iPod touch.
