With November finally here, the Black Friday ad leaks have begun trickling in. Following both Dell’s home and small business ad disclosures, Walmart’s warehouse arm Sam’s Club has its 12-page ad see the light of daily early as well.
In a far cry from the recent past, the ad has but a single tablet special in the form of a 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A for $188.44, which is not only about $80 off the current price, but includes a 32GB microSD for additional storage needs. Long gone are the days when Sam’s Club included an iPad as a Black Friday special — there’s no Apple product in sight in the ad.
Instead, the other computing devices highlighted are all HP systems: a desktop and a trio of laptops. The desktop is a bundle of a Pavilion tower with 24-inch monitor, with a significant discount of $250 off the everyday price of $729. The PC includes an Intel Core i5 processor, 12 gigs of RAM, and a 2TB hard drive, while the display has full HD resolution.
The notebook deals start with the 15-BA067CL, which the ad claims is regularly priced at $449, but which is currently priced at $399 on the Sam’s Club website. The Black Friday price of $299 is still $100 cheaper, and you get a choice of blue, teal, or red case color to go with an AMD A10-9600 processor, 8GB of memory, terabyte hard drive, and 15.6-inch display.
For $30 more, you can grab the 17-x027cl, which comes with an Intel Core i3-5005U CPU, 6GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive, and 17.3-inch screen for $170 less than the regular price. Rounding things out is the beefier HP 15-ay137cl with Core i7-7500U processor, 16 gigs of RAM, and terabyte hard drive for $499, or a whopping $250 less than the current price.
