Box and IBM ally for business software for iOS

IBM and Box are joining forces to bring corporate software for Apple devices. The alliance will produce software for iOS and OS X for the enterprise market. IBM released its iOS Expert Seller app for corporate sales teams and it is built on top of Box’s file storage.

Metadata that has starting appearing on all apps in the iTunes Store hint that iOS device owners may soon be able to delete or hide pre installed apps. Customers have wanted this ability for years to get unused Apple apps off their devices so this will be a welcome change.

Outlook for Android, iOS now integrates with major calendar apps

Microsoft continues to bring functionality to Outlook and has added the ability to integrate calendar information from Facebook, Evernote, and Wunderlist. This will be enabled by connecting third-party apps to Outlook on both Android and iOS.

Hub Keyboard app from Microsoft now on iOS

Microsoft’s Hub Keyboard app is now available on iOS. Hub is a keyboard app that has an interface optimized for entry and search purposes. It had previously been available on Android.
